How to use it

01

Set your rules

Start with the default 16 characters, pick 6, 8, 12, 20 or 32, or enter any length from 4 to 128. If a website restricts symbols, specify allowed characters under Advanced rules.

02

Generate and copy

Passwords are generated on your device. Bulk mode creates 1–100 passwords at a time. Copy one, copy all, or export them as a TXT file.

03

Save in a password manager

Store the result in a password manager you trust. Use a unique password for each account and enable multi-factor authentication.

Common questions

Generation rules and privacy.

Are my passwords uploaded or saved?

No. Passwords are generated locally using your browser’s Web Crypto random source and kept only in the current page. This site has no ads or third-party analytics. Passwords are never sent to our servers, put in the URL, or saved in browser storage. Copying and exporting place passwords on your clipboard or in a file at your request; keep those safe.

What does “Remember settings” save?

It saves only your length, character choices, exclusions and bulk quantity in this browser. Passwords are never saved, and settings do not sync across devices. Turning this off removes saved rules. Private browsing or browser restrictions may prevent settings from being saved.

How long should my password be?

The default is 16 characters. Shortcuts for 6 or 8 characters are available for sites with length restrictions; use a longer random password when possible. Security also depends on how a service stores passwords, whether you reuse them, and whether you enable multi-factor authentication. Length alone is not a guarantee.

Why do some exclusions prevent generation?

Every selected character type must appear at least once. If you exclude every character in a selected type, the rules conflict. Adjust your exclusions or turn off that type, then generation will resume.
